[Finding a spot, he plops his butt down, the tail instantly just consuming as much room as it possibly can. He either raises it up and above his head like some weird hat, or he curls it around him. Either way it doubles his size. Sure it's mostly fluff but. He shrugs at Neku with a little smile, and wraps his arms around it to tamp the fluff down the best he can.

A nearby child on the bus is absolutely enthralled with it, pausing mid lick of their lollipop to ogle at it. The two ladies sit and begin to chatter to themselves and the bus is off.]

[The kid isn't the only one fascinated. Of course, Neku has touched it in passing during his time here, but never with intent. He makes sure Beat can see what he's doing before running his hand over part of it. It's... softer than he expected? Not as silky as a cat though, more like a dog. One with a stiff overcoat. Fasinating]

So where are we going? That museum you mentioned?

[If asked, he wouldn't lie. The petting feels nice. He chuckles a little and let's Neku go right ahead, though that seems to embolden the child.]

Yeah yo, figure we start there, then work our way 'round. Oh, hello.

[Said cause the kid has crept closer and dived their hands into tail fur too. Beat grins and moves his tail around to gently play with them.]

There's also the Mall to visit, then the Cube, an' a few eats.

[Seeing Beat play with the kid fills him with the same fondness seeing him with the Twisters did, and it's clear on his face]

The Cube... that's your 'friend's' thing, right?

[The look on Neku's face makes Beat smile in return, he can't help it. The child squeals and giggles as the mother watches warily, Beat burying the kid in the tail.]

Yeah. Ain't really been there myself save fer once. He helped save peeps from time wars wid it. There's also some weird sci-fi world inside it or somethin'? [A shrug. Gods are weird.] Dunno if we can go into it tho. Which is a bummer, it looked cool. [He taps his toes on the floor of the bus, rubbing his chin in thought.] I can also show you to the places I work, yo.

[He stops lifting the child up and down with his tail when the bus begins to slow, Beat peeking out the window. Not their stop, but it seems it's the kids as the mother calls them back over, thanks Beat for being kind, but also none the less hurries out with their kid whining in tow. Beat watches them go with a little frown.]

[Neku says nothing about the humans, just squeezing Beat's arm in solidarity. It is what it is. He can't exactly blame her]

You have the whole day planned, I'm impressed.

[A small half-shrug in acknowledgement to the arm squeeze. He gets it. Then snorts with a cocky grin.]

Ima show my best friend 'round, 'course I got this shit planned.

[He's winging it. Honestly, he just wanted to spend a day with Neku, just... hitting the town, and trying to forget things for a moment.]

Next stops ours, I think.

[Hearing Beat call him that makes him practically glow in pleasure]

Alright, then I'm in your hands.

[the bus slows to a stop, and Neku easily follows behind Beat. Trusting him to get him where they're going]

[When they get off the bus, Beat doesn't even hesitate. He picks a direction and begins to walk, but only for a short distance before hailing a cab.]

Faster, cities bigger 'an you think.

[At least it's not a long cab ride and they stop in front of a Museum that honestly looks like it's nothing really to look at. But once inside, it's as Beat said. It branches everywhere, leading off to different exhibits for all the monsters currently living on the peninsula.]

Aight, we can visit ours if you wanna, though it ain't nothin' you haven't seen, or we can jus' wander. Summa them got gift shops!

This place is huge... and it shows places from everyone's homes?

[He's super curious to see everything, but-]

S'far as I know. Ain't been peekin' into alla them, but curiosity got the squirrel an' I ducked into a few.

[He'll walk in a direction when Neku says theirs, bypassing quite a few entryways to finally enter one. The first thing Neku will be aware of is the music faintly playing. The next will definitely be the life-sized, very realistic holograms of several Noise. Beat makes a face at them and instead goes to a little Kiosk to pick up a bag of ... chili dog gummies, ripping them open eagerly.]

Pretty sure I peed a little when I first came in here, yo. Ain't nothin' like walkin' in an' seein' Noise jus' floatin' there.

[Beats spotted something that makes him laugh around his gummies.]

[He nods to the secure glass case that's new since he last checked. Inside, Neku will find his old clothes stylishly dressing up a mannequin. They're either the real thing or perfect replicas, complete with said mp3 player. The plaque reads: Legendary Threads]

Stalkers. That's creepy as hell...

[Huff huff, he's embarrassed]

[Snickering, Beat admires the case, smiling at the Mr. Mew leaning up against the Mannequin, hidden on the other side. Cute. And accurate.]

Yeah, I ain't sure how or why it chooses what it does...

[He's avoiding looking at a small model of Rhyme's Noise form]

But it always seems to pick somethin' related.

[He gestures Neku over to the model Scrabble Crossing, moving over to it himself. As he approaches, a glitching version of himself appears, walking through the crowd. He snorts down at it.]

[Neku spots the mini Beat and his annoyed expression dissipates to a smile]

Look, something your squirrel form is bigger than.

Ha-ha, yo. Funny.

[He's grinning, however, especially when a small version of Neku shows up, walking opposite until the two cross paths, where they high five and head off together to disappear off the edge of the model.]

Heh. We'll get home someday.

It's kinda sweet... even if I don't like this place knowing so much about us, it doesn't seem... dangerous?

Nah, ain't nothin' I've come across yet been dangerous. Know some peeps ain't happy wid their exhibits [He's thinking of the way Lusamine reacted to the idea of hers] but I don' think anythin' here can hurt us. Upset us, yeah.

[He tosses the bag of gummies at Neku, looking around their exhibit, the replica 104 building standing tall and proud.]

Summa this stuff is new since you, Shiki, an' Kitty-girl arrived.

[He starts popping the candies in his mouth]

[He nods and looks around, picking up a "Yoshiya" plush at the Kiosk and stuffing it into his backpack.]

[Following after, Beat'll spend the new bit of time with Neku just looking at exhibits. Some are frankly disturbing and Beat seriously feels bad for the people they represent. He stops Neku from going into Lusamines.]
